England Accredited Club

England Football Accredited is

THE ACE OF CLUBS

Take the lead. Set the tempo. Raise the roof.

This has recently taken over from The FA Charter Standard status.

FA Accredited Club

Over the last five years Basing Royals FC has gone from strength to strength.

The club achieved FA Accredited status in record time, meaning the club complies with all the guidelines and protocols set out by the FA. Their stamp of approval is testament to our commitment and core values.

What does it mean?

Having the FA Accredited status is a clear demonstration to all players, parents, sponsors and the public, that the club:

· Is well-organised, safe and offers opportunities for all

· Has FA-qualified coaches as standard

· Adheres to FA Respect Policies and Codes of Conduct

· Prioritises Child Welfare

· Maintains appropriate levels of discipline

· Has access to the County FA and FA regional workforces

Can use the coveted FA ‘Three Lions’ FA crest on its marketing and business material

We did a great job in achieving all of the criteria including:

· Having an FA-trained Club Welfare Officer (we have two)

· An FA Level 1 coach for each youth team (we have 8 Level 1 coaches across our 2 teams)

· Criminal Record Checks (CRC) for all volunteers involved in youth football teams

· FA Emergency Aid-trained volunteers linked to each team

· Sign-up to and deliver The FA’s Respect programme

· Appropriate administration governance in place to be a sustainable club

It also means moving into the new season we will have tangible benefits of:

· Access to Free tickets for England youth and women’s internationals

· Support with funding applications

· An official FA plaque and certificate

· Resources to help promote the club

· Access to apply for kit and equipment

Well done to all who helped support the application and is another step forward in showing we are raising the standards of grassroots football in the local Basingstoke community.
